The Entrance to the Vault

The Cave of the Forgotten Isle was an Isu vault located in the depths of the Isle of Thisvi in Phokis, Greece. It housed an Atlantis artifact – the Prize of the Cyclops – which was capable of transmutating its wielder into a Cyclops, a animal in Greek mythology.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra met Empedokles on the island, and together they entered the innermost bedchamber of the cave. Empedokles was instantly slain by Brontes, the Cyclops inhabiting the vault, merely Kassandra bested the beast in battle and reclaimed the Atlantis artifact in its possession, every bit well every bit a bludgeon.^[i]
